  • 722e1dafb0048ab109544e693559071c Yes, you must. The Verti 30 is a tall freestanding device. Without wall anchoring, children climbing or accidental bumps could tip it over, causing injury or damage.

  • Attach the straps to the center column and top cover, then to the wall. Screw into a wood stud if available, or use appropriate wall anchors.

14.9 Does the camera invade my privacy?

  • No. The camera takes still photos only (once per hour by default) unless you manually tap to record. It doesn’t record video automatically.

  • You can disable the camera in the App settings.

  • For privacy, do not point the camera at children’s bedrooms or private areas.

14.10 Can I use non-Maygrove fertilizer or cleaners?

  • 68247da1e39e05f80d080ca390832936 Not recommended. Untested third-party products (hydrogen peroxide, disinfectants, etc.) may:

- Damage the device (clogged tubing, corroded pumps)

- Kill plants (nutrient imbalance, root burn)

-Prevent proper growth (pH deviation from the 5.5-6.5 target range)

  • Use only Maygrove Plant Food and System Balance.

14.11 Is the produce safe to eat? Can pets eat it?

  • Maygrove uses food-grade BPA-free materials and proprietary safe supplies — under normal use.

  • Wash thoroughly before eating. Don’t eat anything you’re unsure about (allergens, etc.).

  • 68247da1e39e05f80d080ca390832936 Some plants may be toxic to pets (certain herbs, flowers). Consult your veterinarian. Maygrove is not responsible for pet health issues from plant ingestion.

14.12 Does the device need FCC certification?

  • Yes. The Maygrove Verti 30 complies with FCC Part 15 for Class B digital devices. The built-in Wi-Fi module has passed FCC ID certification. See Chapter 17 for the full compliance statement.
